No US state has ever been under "rule of Mexico".
However, the territory occupied by the states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah and parts of Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming was at one time claimed by Mexico.

Texas & New Mexico.
no if you look at the map of the usa it is not apart of mexico at all doe that answer that quetion
Texas belonged to Mexico from 1821 to 1836. When Mexico won it's independence in 1821, it included Texas as part of its nation. Texas won its independence from Mexico in 1836 and remained independent until its annexation into the US in 1845.
First it was part of Mexico, the revolted and was it's own country for about nine or ten years then in 1845 Texas was annexed into the United States
Texas never moved, I believe the Question is "To which Nation was Texas a part before it became part of the U.S." that answer would be Mexico
No. Kentucky was never a colony, and will never be a colony.
None of them. They all belong to the United States of America. If you mean what parts used to be considered a part of Mexico, then it would be California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, as well as parts of Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas.
Texas used to belong to Mexico. When Texas gained independence from Mexico, it became its own country, essentially. Texas wanted to become a part of the United States, but Mexico was opposed because: (a) Mexico knew that it had a better chance of reclaiming Texas if it only had to fight a Texas military as opposed to a U.S. military. (b) Mexico was very opposed to slavery. If Texas was going to be annexed, the U.S. would make it a slave state, meaning slavery could exist in Texas, which Mexico didn't like.
Texas used to be part of Mexico until Mexico broke off from Spain. Mexico made new laws that Texas didn't like so the Texas/Mexico war started and eventually Texas became part of the US.
Texas has been a part of France, Spain, Mexico, The Republic of Texas, The Confederate States of America and the United States of America. This is where the term "Six flags over Texas" originated, which has been used in the names of several enterprises, including the Six Flags theme parks. There are six coats of arms on the Texas state capital that represent the six countries to which Texas once belonged.
