Morocco was a French colony at the beginning of the war; and after the surrender of France became a Vichy France colony. On November 8, 1942 the Allies invaded Morocco and control of Morocco passed to the Free French Forces which it remained until the end of the war.

Morocco had been a French Protectorate prior to World War II. As a result of France's surrender to Nazi Germany in June of 1940, Morocco came under the power of the Vichy French government. King Mohammed V was asked to comply with the Holocaust and surrender his Jews to the Nazis. Similarly to the King of Denmark, he refused to do so, sparing the lives of the 280,000 Jews in Morocco.

The Vichy French and Nazi control of Morocco was relatively short-lived. In November of 1942, the US, UK and Free French soldiers made amphibious landings in Morocco as part of Operation Torch and effectively removed Nazi German and Vichy French forces from Morocco.

Other than this, Morocco did not really contribute to World War 2.
