The border between Delaware and Pennsylvania was created by drawing a 12 mile Arc from the New Castle Courthouse. Everything inside the Twelve Mile Circle belonged to Delaware and that man made point on the map still exists today and is the only circular state boundary in the United States. A second mapping anomaly caused by the Arc was created because of the accuracy limitations of surveying equipment at the time. It is called The Wedge and consists of a single square mile of land that was in dispute until 1921.
Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming are the only ones I can think of.
There are a lot more than three types of lines and there is no physical property which states that there are only three.
technically all 50 do not since even the lines that look straight on maps actually follow the curvature of the earth but to answer the question you probably meant only Hawaii tho even Hawaii has straight looking lines in the borders of its counties so again technically all don't & none do
Washington borders only 2 other states
Maybe only a circle and a oval. :P
Hawaii
no it only borders one state
Florida - Borders Georgia and AlabamaSouth Carolina - Borders North Carolina and GeorgiaRhode Island - Borders Massachusetts and ConnecticutWashington - Borders Oregon and Idaho
Virginia borders 5 states, California only 3
Maine. It borders New Hampshire.
Two landlocked states in the U.S. with the fewest state borders are Wyoming and West Virginia, each sharing borders with only 5 other states.
