It depends on which terms you are talking about. Economy and living standards? No doubt the US is in much better shape. Culturally? Mexico has its own rich and very distinctive culture, even if American culture has been more "exported" throughout the world.

Generally speaking, no. Mexico has a great culture, an incredibly complex history, friendly people and awesome, beautiful places that can take your breath away; it is however a much less developed country than the United States, and has a lot of challenges to face, to say the least. Some of them are very apparent at border cities such as Tijuana or Juarez, where crime, poverty, lack of education, and widespread corruption of Mexican authorities are rampant, thus making many Americans to believe that Mexico is "wild country" where narco gangs roam the streets and most Mexicans fear for their lives.

If you are asking whether or not living in Mexico is an option, 150,000 to 200,000 American expatriates in Mexico are the living proof that such country is as good as the United States, depending on your sense of adventure.

Brazil isthe best place ever and they play soccer way better than mexico. i think it is a lot better than Mexico because i am from there.

In terms of difficulties you have to face when you don't earn enough money, no. In Mexico there are very few homeless people, and you could earn some money even by selling small items on the streets such as music CDs, keychains or home-prepared food.

Mexico has a richer and more varied culture than Texas. Also Mexico has Tequila, Mariachi, Señoritas, Margaritas, Nachos, Cancun, Tulum, Cozumel, Los Cabos, Zapateado, Charreada, Tex-Mex, Tacos, Burritos, Guacamole, Corona Beer, Springbreak and many more things that can't be listed here.

On the other hand, Texas is a drop-out of Mexico; its most important things are Oil, El Alamo and 'Dubya' Bush.

In my personal opinion, Mexico is much better than Texas.

All depends on who you ask. I`m English so I would naturally say England`s better, but in reality they both have very different cultures and people. You`d have to decide for yourself!
