To fix an engine with no compression first try replacing the spark plugs. Remove the spark plug wire and then remove the spark plug. Replace the plug with a new one. Reattach the wire. Replace all of your plugs and see if your engine will fire.
Check your coil pack or the spark plugs.
im not getting fire to the spark plugs but the distributor is getting fire what do i do please help
Yes this is possible. There is a second set of spark plugs that fire shortly after the primary spark plugs fire to burn any remaining fuel out of the cylinder. This is done to lower emissions. This is a very common setup on the 2.3L Ford Ranger engine as well.
The rotary engine has a total of 4 spark plugs, the top 2 fire first with the front housing fire first. Hope this helps.
The firing order for the spark plugs on a 2005 Mercury Sable with a 3.0L V6 engine is 1-4-2-5-3-6. This means that the spark plugs fire in this specific sequence to ensure optimal engine performance. It's important to follow this order when replacing or servicing the ignition system to avoid misfires and engine issues.
The ignition in a car is responsible for starting the engine by igniting the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. It typically involves an ignition coil that generates a high-voltage spark, which is sent to the spark plugs. When the spark plugs fire, they ignite the fuel, allowing the engine to run. Additionally, the ignition system controls the timing of the spark to ensure optimal engine performance.
your distrubator is numbered and your plugs if you start at the front of your engine toward the radiator the plugs are 2,4,6 and on the fire wall side the plugs are 1,3,5
Old spark plugs can make a car misfire, run rough, and not fire at all.
A distributor sends electric (from ignition coil) to the spark plugs via the spark plug wires, which in turn fire the engine.
You will still have spark, car will try to start or backfire. If no spark at all the plugs see if you have GOOD spark from coil. If coil is working then you will find the problem in between the coil and the plugs, probably a distributor component issue. The ballast resister is a possible cause also.
A 2001 Honda Accent's engine may not fire if the electrical system has experienced a failure, the spark plugs are bad, or the plug wires are loose. A strong spark is required to ignite the air and fuel mixture.
