The Ford Fiesta Mk5, produced from 1999 to 2008, is equipped with either a timing belt or a timing chain, depending on the engine variant. Generally, the 1.25L and 1.4L petrol engines use a timing belt, while the 1.6L engine features a timing chain. Timing chains are typically more durable and require less frequent replacement than timing belts, but it's essential to follow the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations for optimal performance. Regular checks can help prevent issues related to timing components.

If an online search did not find the Ford Fiesta mk5 fuse box diagram, then it is available in the Fiesta service manual. The manual should be available through most any auto parts store.

No it has a timing belt and needs to be changed every 100k miles as per service book but its better if you change it at around 80k .
