There is one large white star on the Texas state flag, representing unity among the state's citizens.
what is the Texas state flag that flew over Texas from 1685 to 1690
There is only one star on the Texas flag, which represents the Lone Star State.
The Texas state flag is pretty similar to the American flag, but it does differ. The left most quarter of the flag is a blue stripe going vertically with a big star. Next to it are 2 thick stripes running horizontally- one red one and one blue one. A picture of the flag and other information can be found here at the link below.
The current design for the Texas state flag was adopted by the Republic of Texas 25 January 1839. Prior to that, the republic's flag had been a single gold star in the middle of a blue field.
Texas! you get the hint from the flag:) Source: I lived in Texas!!
Any state flag should be flown below or level with the US Flag, but never above it. If it is on the same level it should be on the right, this includes Texas. The rumor that Texas is the only state that is allowed to fly at level with the US Flag is just that a rumor and an urban myth.
