There's probably a home depot in Georgia.
The sales and use tax rate in Georgia varies across the State. The reason for this is the State has a 4% rate but the 159 counties have different rates. Some counties have a SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Tax) for Capital Improvements in the County and some counties have a SPLOST for the school system as well. I believe all have1% for the county's general fund and some in and around Atlanta have a MARTA (Transit System) sales tax of 1%. The rates vary from 6% to 8% with the 8% in Atlanta.
