Slavery has been around since the earliest time in history. The Greeks, Romans, Egyptians all had slaves. Ancient pirates sold and bought slaves among all the civilizations. As man discovered new worlds he added slavery. The Spanish tried to enslave Native Americans to work Southwest mines. The first slave came to the English colonies in 1619, and it was just a matter of time before there were more.
