To change the shift lever console light bulb in a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. Then, remove the trim panel around the shift lever by gently prying it off with a flat tool. Once the panel is removed, locate the light bulb socket, twist it counterclockwise to remove it, and replace the old bulb with a new one. Reassemble the trim panel and reconnect the battery terminal to complete the process.

Oh, dude, replacing the turn signal lever on a 1979 Chevrolet Malibu is like a walk in the park... if that park is full of confusing wires and tiny screws. You basically gotta remove the steering column cover, locate the lever assembly, disconnect it, swap it out with a new one, and then put everything back together. It's like a puzzle, but with more grease and frustration.
