There are 3 ways depending on how you use it.
Socchi is used when referring to a place.
In a sentence:
そっちへ行こう (socchi e ikou) English: I will go there
Although socchi is used more like "there" in English, it more literally means "that place"
Sono is used for describing something.
In a sentence:
そのパイがおいしい (sono pai WA oishii) English: That pie is tasty
Think of sono more as clarification as to which it is. In the sentence, we are not saying "pie is tasty" or "all pie is tasty", but "THAT pie is tasty"
Sore is used as a noun.
In a sentence:
それはすごいですね?(sore WA sugoi desu ne) English: Isn't that amazing?
Sore is like a substitution for "sono ____" (That[sore] is pretty instead of that[sono] purse is pretty)
I hope this makes sense to you and I helped~ =]
