There are a lot of counterfeit rau's across India. There is one in Bangalore and another in Hyderabad (that I know of) that call themselves Rao, Rao's, etc. As of my knowledge the original one is in delhi at Barakhamba Rd., Cannaught Place.
Heard that it is one of the oldest and the most results producing institute. Also, this one doesn't promise or make false claims etc.
But these days a number of better institutes have come up across India and mainly in chennai.
in my personal experience i found it while taking coaching for sociology. i have taken coaching in delhi's best institutes .but found it to be more effectively taken in Success ias academy in chennai by a person by the name sampath.
also these days i see a number of north Indian students coming to chennai to take up coaching.
