Russia, Germany, and the UK are all modern day Great Powers of Europe. They are also some of the most powerful and influential countries worldwide. They all have large economies, large populations, had large empires, etc. However, they are also different in many ways:
- Russia is not a member of the EU or NATO while both the UK and Germany are
- Russia's language is of Slavic decent and not Germanic, like English and German are
- the UK has a large population growth rate compared to both Germany and Russia
- Germany is majority Catholic while Russia and the UK are majority Protestant (Eastern Orthodox and Anglicanism respectively)
- Russia is located in Eastern Europe while Germany and the UK are in Western Europe
- Germany was on the opposite side of Russia and the UK in both world wars
- the UK was the only country to not fall to communism (Russia was the birthplace of communism and Germany was split)

Russia uses the rouble, the UK uses the Pound Sterling and Germany uses the Euro.

The United Kingdom is a Constitutional Monarchy but Russia got rid of it's Monarchy about 100 years ago.
