If you are using standard mail, i.e.,PosLaju, it can take anywhere from 9-15 days incl. weekends. The Malaysian postal service delivers on Saturdays, unlike in Canada. Be aware though of national holidays (some of which are long) and of state holidays of your address of origin - that will affect delivery times.

Customs and clearance is notorious in Malaysia - registering your letter/ parcel is your only guarantee that it will reach your intended destination but will almost double the time it takes to get there.

Surface mail is very affordable and, suprisingly, quite dependable. That will take about 2 months.
