Utah ranges in elevation from about 2000 ft near St. George in the southwest corner of the state to 13,498 ft at the top of King's Peak (highest point in the state) near the Wyoming border. Salt Lake City, the largest city, is at about 4500 ft. Most of the area of the state is near that elevation.
