Using Google Earth from The US Bank Centre in Milwaukee which is the tallest building there at 601 feet at 678? feet above sea level---Total is 1279 feet. The Distance to the beach at Grand Haven is about 83 miles. But as you move north up past muskegon (the shore line curves west) I found some 77 and 76 mile distances. After that it goes back to the 80's because of the angle. Muskegon elevation is about 625-639 feet, so it's lower than Wisconsin side, unless if you are on top of a building. So you lose like 44 feet if you stand on the beach at 6 feet tall. If you can go up a little bit--Roof, tree, building, tower---whatever, I bet you can see this building on clear days.
