there has been many wars in irans 4000 years history. Unfortunately it hasn't passed more than 50 years without war since 3000 years ago.... Iran has been under attack from all direction and all known Narion( west:Rome empire,Greeks, European, Ottoman Turks South :Arabs,Egyption,African Musilims East: Central Asian ,Turks,Mongol,(no war with chonese but there where some conflicts), North: Russian , north tribes,Huns ).... having so much enemy form any direction is because of Iran location . Iran is located in middle east which is obviously middle of all nation ( before finding of America)....Iran always was under attack form two or more direction and from different nation .... for example form 100 bc to 650 Ad Iran was under attack by Roman empire in west, Arab at south and Turks at east north tribes at north..... Any nation that could have defeated in a period of time , became well known in history (Alexander , Muslims, Mongols) (Rome empire never defeated Iran and Iran won many wars against Roman (Iran-Rome 700years war also known as Persian-roman wars)
