I live in Port Huron, which does get a bit colder than Flint because of Lake Effect Snow, but you should expect anything from 40 degrees and below. Michigan's weather varies a lot each day, but I've never seen it get above 40 in the winter. A bigger issue is the snowfall that we receive. I highly doubt it.... having lived in Michigan for 50 + years, very rarely have I seen the temp dip down to those found in Alaska.
