If you mean the Old Testament Solomon, then no. The Solomon Islands are in the southwestern Pacific, many thousands of miles from the biblical lands.

The first European to land on the Solomons did think he had arrived at Solomon's lands -- he had no idea where he was, in fact, because no one could do longitude in those days. However, the name stuck.
