No, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona are called the Soutwest. The home of the cowboys and Indian although Colorada, Wyoming and Montana have legitimate rights to objecting.

^That is not correct either. According to some sites, Texas COULD be part of the midwest, but it's on the southern edge of it, hence it's a southern state. Oklahoma is grouped with being a midwestern state along with Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, the Dakotas, and Minnesota sometimes but no one knows for sure either.

I guess it's a southern state after all.
