^That is not correct either. According to some sites, Texas COULD be part of the midwest, but it's on the southern edge of it, hence it's a southern state. Oklahoma is grouped with being a midwestern state along with Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, the Dakotas, and Minnesota sometimes but no one knows for sure either.
