Well, I live in Utah and everywhere you look there are mountains. It's very beautiful here. The colors of the mountains range from light peachy red to light beige. If you love the outdoors this is the place for you. There are many walking trails, hiking, fishing, biking, running, climbing. There are many places to camp. If you like off roading look out!! you can find places everywhere to off road. The people are more laid back here and so worried about keeping up with their neighbor. Utah people are more thrifty with their money. People are very nice here. There is an Mormon church on every corner almost but know one pushes the LDS religion on you. A lot of, most homes do not have curbs in the front. It's very country like here. Beauty everywhere you look.

Yes, Utah is one of the safest states, although some cities are much safer than others. It is pretty common in the suburbs of Utah and Salt Lake counties to find people's homes and vehicles unlocked due to the lack of crime.
