Um, yes? I mean, it really depends on what you're implying here with your question. If I do understand, though, yes, it IS possible to be lost. For example when doing camping in the wild, it's possible to lose your way and get stuck in the forest or thicket of nature. Also, it would be possible to lose yourself on vast regions such as the Sahara desert or in the snow plains of Antarctica. Another possible place to lose yourself would be the amazonian forest... A large complex, building, university for example, etc. There's so many possibilities. I mean it can be as simple as visiting a foreign country, or going somewhere where you do not understand the language.

I must be honest and say I don't really get your question as it seems to simple and all that's required to answer it is common sense.

Maybe I misunderstood and you were intending for a deeper meaning of the word "lost". Well, the answer to that is yet again, yes. You can be lost in thought, lost when talking about a subject (for example, it is more than likely that unless you've taken courses or have prior knowledge of physics, you would be utterly lost in quantum physics), etc. Really, it all depends on the definition, but in each case, it is in fact possible to get lost.

Also, here's a quote from the book "The Phantom Tollbooth" by Norton Juster. "Being lost is never a matter of not knowing where you are; it's a matter of not knowing where you aren't." (Thanks to Chessmaster1998 for this one)
