Yes, it is legal to posses small amounts of marijuana, cocaine, and heroin now in Mexico. I heard they are completely decriminalizing marijuana there for any use but im not sure.

A new bill, passed by the Mexican Federal Legislature in late April 2006, has not yet been signed into law, but would decriminalize very small amounts of cannabis (under 5g) but would stiffen penalties for larger amounts and remove current discretion judges about the definition of "personal use amounts". Not necessarily. It grows almost anywhere so it can come from anywhere. A lot of pot is grown in the USA.
