There are no 7 star hotels in India currently till 2009.

Leela Palace Bangalore is only eligible for a 5-star rating... its not as good as the Townhouse Galleria in Milan or Burj Al-Arab in Dubai, which have the 7-star rating. But in India, many new 7-star projects are underway, like the ITC Grand Chola in Chennai and a couple of Hilton & Taj Luxury Hotels in Mumbai and Delhi.

There is NO such thing as a 7 star hotel it is just A self proclaimed ranking without merit. like hotels saying they are 6 star which is false as well. it just like any hotel around the world, it is very nice! but is just a 5 star hotel.

there are just lots and lots of 5 star hotels in India and the world but NO 6 star or 7 star hotels. it is false advertisement and basically rubbish if a hotel claims it is 6 or 7 star. It is nonsense if anyone ever says they are the only 6 or 7 in a country or the world, such as when the Burj Al Arab was built a few years ago and it claimed to be 7 stars, when that is just utter crap.
