This is very tricky and time consuming. First, youd have to remove the door panel. Then remove the key pad if equipped. Next, two srews that hold the assembly. Here's where it gets tricky. There are two rods that travel downward. One for the key cylinder, the other for the handle itself. These MUST be released. I released them at the downward ends of the rods. They are both held in place by plastic secures. Once again, this is the toughest part. Once you have them released, they assembly should dislodge itself enough so you can remove the retaining clip for the key cylinder. I couldn't remove the pigtail connected to the cylinder so I cut it, then reconnected it later using longer wiring which in turn will allow easier installation. Believe it or not, the assembly with just the right angle, should come out.
Installation is the reversal. It would help to have a second hand to hold the assembly while longer wires for the key cylinder are connected. If you decide to cut the wires like I did, make sure you use the thinnest wires possible so they can fit through its hole. GOOD LUCK.
