The inland body of water located north of Tanzania and south of Uganda is Lake Victoria. It is one of the largest lakes in Africa and is shared by three countries: Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya. Lake Victoria plays a crucial role in the region's ecology and economy, supporting fisheries and transportation.
Tanzania is located in East Africa with Kenya and Uganda to the north.

Relative location of Uganda is that it is bordering Kenya from the West, South Sudan from the South, United Republic of Tanzania from the North and the Democratic Republic of Congo from the East. It is land locked and also borders Lake Victoria from the North.
