There are many, many gods and goddesses in the ancient Greek religion. However, the twelve main gods and goddesses (the Olympians) are Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Ares, Apollo, Hephaestus, Dionysus, Athena, Hera, Demeter, Artemis, and Aphrodite.
As an added note, these twelve used to be made up of everyone here but Dionysus - instead, it was Hestia. When Dionysus, the half-blood son of Zeus, was granted godhood, he immediately wanted to become one of the twelve main gods. In order to prevent a war, Hestia offered him her throne. She became a minor goddess, and the council became five women and seven men, but a war was indeed prevented.
