Politically there are divisions and growing dissent in various sections of the society and within the different political parties.
Economically, the economic growth had stalled during the recession but has begun to recover. For the first time in it's history Botswana has operated with a budget deficit , forcing the country to borrow both internally and externally. Diamonds were not selling during the recession but that is changing the sales are on the rebound.
Botswana's biggest economic challenge is diversifying the economy from a diamond based one to multistream IE tourism , manufacturing and encouraging direct foreign investment.(FDI ) What comes up against the diversification especially on the FDI is the small population. The country is small and landlocked , the size of Texas USA ,with a population of 2 million people only (census 2011 ).For FDI the market is small then the land lock is a challenge when it comes to export. Hopefully things will change with time.
There is a social, cultural ,political and economical problems in our society.Govt have no interested regarding problems.If govt design some policies and announce some posts for social workers then we can overcome these problems.

It was in the early 1930s that radical political groups gained support throughout the US. During this time the country was faced with major economical problems and they wanted to survive the Great Depression. Radical political groups provided solutions to dig out of these problems.
Economical problems, Deaths, damaged and destroyed lands, damaged and destroyed industry, (depending which war) : Loss of territory, and if a country is the loser, Lessening of political stability.
As of right now, i doubt it. Botswana has a better economy and although is more peaceful and growing, still spends a good amount of money on their military. Whereas Zimbabwe is having major economic problems like hyper inflation so and political unrest, so their military isn't as good as BOtswana's as of right now.
We are the best country to live in acording to the UN. We do not have economical problems.

no farmers werent successful in bringing about political and economical change because they had experienced a huge crisis that sone critics blamed on shortage of gold. and the failure of several major railroad companies also contributed to the economic problems.
