From personal experience, it's a lot like the U.S. One thing I experienced there is people honk their horns a lot, but not out of rudeness. If you're walking down the street and a car is coming they lay on the horn, but that's normal. There are aggressive drivers all over Honduras. Table manners are the same, saying please and thank you. When eating, try and finish all your food. If you don't speak very good spanish, try and learn the bare minimum. They like when you speak their language instead of them having to speak yours.
Honduras is some what of a peaceful place it depends in what part.
