There are many haunted locations that are open to the public in Washington state. PIHA (Paranormal Investigations of Historic America) only investigates these historic locations.

Your first and best historic location to visit and possibly see or experience a ghost is your local museum. One great museum is located in Chehalis, WA. The Lewis County Historical Museum has a long history of paranormal activity. Another is the Museum of North Beach at Moclips, WA, just north of Ocean Shores, WA. Kent, WA has it's own haunted museum as well known as the Kent Historical Society Museum located in the historic Bereiter home. Don't forget about the ship museums like the USS Turner Joy Museum, a US Navy destroyer that help start the Viet Nam War. It is permanently moored in Bremerton, WA.

Historic communities like Port Gamble, WA., Port Townsend, WA., Moclips, WA., Chehalis, WA., Centralia, WA., Seattle, WA.

Historic hotels and B&B's that claim to have a history of paranormal activity and have been investigated by a paranormal organization. One haunted hotel exist in Centralia, WA called McMinamins Olympic Club and Hotel. Another hotel is the Palace Hotel in Port Townsend, WA. And then there's the Manresa Castle located in Port Townsend, WA that has been investigated on numerous occasions.

These are just a few of the many historic museums, communities and historical sites that are open to the public in Washington State and have a history of paranormal activity.
