Australia's colonisation was neither good or bad. The concept of colonisation is completely fine- it was how the English colonised Australia that is seen as particually bad and forceful.
To answer your question, it was good because it was in fact, early globalisation. Which created diversity in the world, and Australia. If Australia was never colonised, Indigenous Australians would never have made contact with other people, and vice versa.
Australia provides the world with many resources. In 2008 alone, Australia exported about 54,712,000 dollars worth of coal, and 34,239,000 dollars worth of Iron Ore & concentrates- just to name a few.
As stated before, it was bad because of how it was colonised; Also, foreign diseases posed serious threats to Australia. Even now, Australian border control is really tough.

British colonization had a devastating effect on Australia's native population, leading to significant loss of life, culture, and land. The introduction of diseases, violent conflicts, and displacement from traditional lands drastically reduced Indigenous populations. Furthermore, colonization disrupted social structures and cultural practices, resulting in long-lasting societal impacts that continue to affect Indigenous communities today. Overall, colonization marked a tragic turning point in the history and well-being of Australia's Indigenous peoples.
