The Government is once again considering raising the legal drinking age in Australia to 21 years of age from 18, in a bid to reduce alcohol related violence and deaths amongst under 25 year olds.

How about we try giving them something to do instead of drinking, or somewhere where they can be supervised to drink.

I wonder if violence would actually increase, what with all these young people out on the street with nothing to do, nowhere to go and possibly getting drunk anyway!

pros include the fact that the drinking age now is 18 and you have 14-17yr old illegal drinking, if it were 21 you may find you have 17-20 year olds illegaly drinking which would be a much better situation!
