Specifically, peaches are washed and peeled. They then are placed in boiling water that already has lemon juice added. The ingredients are boiled together for three (3) minutes.
The peaches are drained, cut into halves and de-seeded. The seeds and then sugar are placed back into the boiling water and boiled for ten (10) minutes. The seeds then are removed.
The peaches are added to the syrupy mixture of water and sugar. All of the ingredients are then brought to a boil. After the mixture cools, liqueur wine is added.
The dessert is served cold.
