Officially, the subcontinent of North America includes Greenland, Central America and the islands of the Caribbean Sea. North America has at least 22 independent countries plus parts of Denmark, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
There are no countries in this geography, only a continent: Antarctica. There are no countries on the Antarctic continent.
