depending on how the citizens come into power, it could be a communism, or a democracy, a communism if the leading party is determined by a select few individuals. otherwise, a democracy
In 80-ties the Solidarity movement had over 10 million members, that was the force that would scare any government. It shown that Communism has no support in polish society. In 90- ties the government must've deal with Solidarity and reform the country.

Belize has a Parliamentary democracy because of their British backround.
It led to independence for many countries.
When the Soviet Union fell in 1991 and communism was defeated, Boris Yeltsin attempted to adopt capitalism and westernization (democracy) but the transition has not been successful because communism is still threaded throughout the country.
It isn't. It all sounds like a glorious solution to poverty, etc., etc. - share the wealth, everything shared out equally - but it doesn't work. There have always been those communists who are more equal than others. How many times do you people need to be told. Communism is a system of econmics and democracy is a system of government.Communism means that the creation and distibution of a nations wealth is under control of the state. Democracy is a form of government in which all citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. One cannot be better than the other as they are not the same things. You can be a communist state and have a capatilist economy - try China! There are plenty of democratic countries who border on a communist economic model - try Venezueala
It's system of government. If a country is still developing they will have a direct democracy or communism, depending on its leaders.
Sovereignty, as the ability to control your own laws and commerce, is the basis for any political entity. To survive, a nation or state needs the recognition (internally and externally) of its own self-government. Solidarity as Opposed to Sovereignty Domestically, it is good for a country to have solidarity in which means "unity, community, commonality". No country can have sovereignty for that is a misnomer when used this way. It is just like "democracy", which was one of Socrates' inferior societies. Our country is a republic and not Jefferson's democracy. It is true that one man, one vote is democracy, but the electoral college proves a republic under ascension leadership. In other words, small groups elect leaders instead of the public enmasse. Sovereignty is for individual Citizens and not for inanimate things. The word "sovereignty" means individual human soul, not a country or thing. We use the term "sovereignty" incorrectly in referencing countries; solidarity should be used instead.
South Vietnam wanted to remain an autonomous democracy, and North Vietnam wanted to unify the whole country under communism.
America is an example of a democratic country
