They are called the Kazakh people. Some of the other Stan countries, Uzbekistan, Uzbeks, Pakistan, Pakistanis, and Afghanistan, Afghans. None of these countries contain the "an"s or the "ish" s or even "ese" s as in Scottish or Canadian or even Portuguese. It's weird but that's how the countries are. The people just called themselves those names but for unknown reason
