Burkina Faso has made significant strides in improving access to primary education over the years, with increased enrollment rates. However, challenges remain, particularly in rural areas where infrastructure and resources are limited. As of recent years, the gross enrollment rate for primary education was around 90%, but issues such as teacher shortages, high dropout rates, and regional disparities continue to impact the quality of education. Efforts by the government and international organizations aim to address these challenges and promote inclusive education for all children.
