Most of the population claim connection to no specific religion. However they would call themselves atheists. Traditionally the dominant religion was Roman Catholic but was deeply eroded by nationalistic and communist Propaganda to such a state that nowadays we might call the typical Czech person a "Roman Catholic Atheist".
There is no longer a Czechoslovakian country. The Czech and Slovak Republics are separate countries.
