Germans have always been known for their hospitality and making people feel welcomed. The Nazi nightmare is just that! The Germans that lived through the horrors of Hitler and the war, have tried very hard to be a much better society and to live peacefully with its neighbors. The Germans are known for their engineering excellence, for example, autos and commercial aircraft. They are high on the list of computer technology and telecommunications. The Germans are the largest number of tourists in the world. Germans love to explore and to travel. Since the end of the war, Germans have taken the lead in peace and justice issues. They are involved in enviornmental causes and other progressive causes. The Germans are known to be secular, not religious. Most Germans do not attend Church anylonger, especially the young. Germans are full of life and love food and beer. It wonderful to go to a beer hall and eat lots of great food and dance to lively music. The greatest thing about Germans today is that they are not known for being militarists or spending vast amounts of money on defense like in the United States.
