Summer all year round - there are monsoon seasons twice a year bringing heavy rains, but even during the non-monsoon seasons it rains pretty much. Usually heavy rain, thunderstorms are not rare. Seldom does it rain the whole day though. Oftentimes it is done with in 1-2 hours. There may be the odd drought every few years or so.

High temperatures may reach just over 30C, lows are seldom below 25C. Generally it's around 26-28.

This of course differs between regions. The monsoon season bring rains to some parts but not to others, since it is affected by the wind direction. High lands would of course have milder temperatures - places such as Cameron Highlands, Genting Highlands and the famous Mount Kinabalu (tallest peak in South-East Asia).

Malaysia is hot and humid. Be prepared to sweat a lot if you're used to sub15C temperatures.
