Assisted euthanasia usually means that one person is helping another person die, in some cases, commit suicide. Dr. Jack Kervorkian was a famous physcian who went to prison for "helping" his terminally ill patients die. It is illegal in many parts of the world, including America, to assist someone with death. In a lot of cases, the nurse or doctor will inject a patient with a lot of pain medicine, and this will kill them. There are some parts of the UK where they actually have clinics that people can go to in order to die, and it is not illegal (Germany, I think? Switzerland?).
