The Language spoken in Pakistan related to Hindi is Urdu. It is vitually identical in everyday speech. However, Hindi has stressed its Sanskrit roots by introducing more Sanskrit words intoo the modern language, whereas Urdu has artificially added Arabic words (which are Semetic based) into Urdu, which is an Indo-Aryan (not Semetic) language. It is written in the Arabic script, as opposed to Devanagari script of HIndi. However, because Urdu was not developed with the Arabic script in mind, some sounds are represented awkwardly.
