This is a free calculator on the United States Postal Service for calculating postage rates on letters or parcels sent from the US to foreign countries. The reason I include the link is because postage rates are subject to change. Thus any direct answer I put up would eventually be outdated.
As of 12:20PM EST, January 2nd, 2009 A.D., the current postage rate for a letter weighing 1 ounce or less, or in other words a letter consisting of, at most, 5 sheets of 20# 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper in a standard security envelope with up to 3 standard stamps, posted from in the United States to anywhere in the United Kingdom, including England, is $0.94 Postage in United States Currency. This means 3 standard 41 cent stamps would do the job, or if you wanted to be more precise, you could put two 41 cent stamps, one 10 cent stamp, and one 2 cent stamp on the envelope. Or you could just go to the post office and let them machine stamp the postage right on the envelope.
I hope that answers your question.
Thank you.
It depends on which country you're posting it from
how much does it cost to send a letter from usa to ethiopia
As of my last update, the cost to post a standard letter from England to Spain typically ranges from around £1.50 to £2.00 for international standard delivery, depending on the weight and size of the letter. For more precise and current pricing, it's best to check the Royal Mail website or visit a local post office, as rates may change and vary based on service options.
Enough to add up to the cost of postage. Currently an international first class letter of one ounce is 98 cents.
I am not sure if it is the minimum. I just sent a standard letter to the US and it cost me 55 php.
That will depend on where in the world you are posting the letter from. Your local post office will have details of current prices.
For a standard letter it is €0.82 although if you want to send something larger the costs would of course increase.
Where from?
Depending on the country your in, if in England use a second class stamp or a santa stamp from the postoffice.
As of 23/2/2010 a DVD will be classed as a Large letter and cost 61p 1st class.
