What is the scope of economics in Pakistan?

With a degree in maths, lets say MSc, at the max one can only get a job of teaching at school level. And if you have PhD then with some sort of inner connections one can be a lecturer.

Also, the highest level of mathematical ability of any normal Pakistani mathematician is solving differential equation at the level of ODE or intermediate PDE & these skills they acquire by reading cookbooks of diff eqs. Even, the famous Pakistani mathematician have worked only in the field of group theory. In pure maths with a context of analysis, almost no body in Pakistan have good knowledge.

well economics is a great feild and it has a tremendous scope in foreign countries, but its scope in Pakistan is somewhat doubtful.. we can bring betterment in this feild by bringing a good change in our curriculum, those things should be included in the course which have more practical relevance
