I think this depends on what definition of the word 'land' you're after...
it could be 土地 (tochi) as in 'a piece of land'
it could be 国 (kuni) as in 'a foreign land'
it could be 陸 (riku) as in 'by land'
it could be 着陸 (chakuriku) as in 'the plane will land on time'
