Well I'm from Newcastle and it is the ninth best city in the world so there are tons of fishing spots, football or Rugby league, Charlstown Square and Westfield Kotara, oh and don't forget the Stockton sand dunes. There awesome beaches and in the summer the surfest surf competition. It is all relaxed and not too populated and it is only two hours north of Sydney. There's plenty to do in Newcastle!
