Mont Blanc is in the Mont Blanc massif, which is a sub-range of the Graian Alps.
Mt. Elbrus is higher. It rises to an elevation of 5,642 metres (18,510 ft), while Mt. Blanc's elevation is 4,810.45 m (15,782 ft).
