The Appalachian Mountains posed a significant natural barrier, making it difficult for the British army to move from the Atlantic coast to the Ohio River Valley. The rugged terrain, with its steep slopes and dense forests, hindered transportation and logistics. Additionally, the lack of established roads and the presence of rivers that were often difficult to navigate further complicated the movement of troops and supplies. This challenging geography was a key factor in the difficulties faced by the British during their campaigns in North America.

The prominent feature of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is a very deep linear valley known as a rift valley. This rift valley forms due to the tectonic plates moving apart and allowing magma to rise from the mantle, creating new oceanic crust in the process.
The mid Atlantic Ridge plates are moving apart at approximately 2.5 to 3 centimeters per year.
The Atlantic Ocean prevents the Sahara from moving west.
Because the tectonic plates which it sits upon are moving apart at the mid-atlantic ridge.

British citizens may choose to move across the Atlantic to Canada. Prior to leaving Britain, they need to apply for a visa. The visa will be their way into the country until they become a permanent citizen. They will then need to find companies to move their belongings as well as new laws and culture/
