The Civil War
what was his biggest complaint
One of the most damaging myths about American history is that Abraham Lincoln was a terrible president. That he was a racist who loved slavery, and worked hard to keep the Civil War from ending it. That Abraham Lincoln was a pro-slavery weasel whom black Americans should scorn and whose memory we should all trample in the dust. Many American Presidents have tried to alleviate the problem of racism in America; the first to do so in a meaningful way was Abraham Lincoln.

Several of Abraham Lincoln's biographers point out that Abraham Lincoln had a personal political problem with Illinois Senator Stephen A. Douglas. Reportedly Lincoln tried to associate Douglas with the so-called Slave Power Conspiracy during the Lincoln-Douglas debates of 1858. Allegedly Eastern Republicans such as Horace Greeley of the New York Tribune, and New York Governor William Seward were trying to bring Douglas into the Republican Party. If so, Douglas, a senator of national prominence would then be the leader of the Illinois Republican Party. Looking forward to the 1860 Republican Convention, Seward and Greeley saw the Republican Douglas as a huge boost to the Party's chances to elect a Republican president.

The newly sworn in President Johnson also for his time had a more liberal approach to the Reconstruction problem than the radical republicans in congress.
George McClellan, an indecisive Union commander who Abraham Lincoln dubbed as having a case of "the slows." While President Lincoln was unhappy with McClellan was clear. What dims the harsh term used against McClellan was the fact that on two occasions, President Lincoln first promoted him to General in Chief, then reversed himself, then after relieving him of duty with regards to the Army of the Potomac, Lincoln then reappointed him to lead that army over the objections of his cabinet.
If, after you type in a question, you are taken to a page as if you had just searched for it on Google or some other search engine, you didn't put your answer in the form of a question. For example, "Everything known about Abraham Lincoln" will take you to a search page. So will "Everything known about Abraham Lincoln?" You need to put it as "What is everything known about Abraham Lincoln?" If you did put it in question form, you shouldn't have a problem.
