Trondheim was the capital between 1030 and 1217.
From around 1300, Norway entered a union with Denmark. Since Denmark was the stronger party, the Norwegian capital was basically the Danish capital, København (Copenhagen).

From 1814, the capital of Norway was Oslo, although Oslo was called Christiania until 1925.
